At Ferrer we believe that we have an obligation and a responsibility to give equal importance to business profitability and social benefit.
We want to be a company with a positive impact, and so by 2022 we will allocate 46’9% * of our net profits to social and environmental causes.

We Are B Corp
In 2022, we became the first Spanish pharmaceutical laboratory to join the B Corp community, scoring 100,6 points in the certification process, a result we’re quite proud of, considering that, at that time, only a quarter of B Corp companies worldwide had scored more than 100 points.
The B Corp community currently comprises more than 6,000 companies from around the world, with the purpose of promoting a more inclusive and sustainable economy, redefining the meaning of business success as based on the well-being of people, communities and the planet.
Achieving this certification was a milestone for all of us at Ferrer.
But it was only the start. Our commitment is to continue making a positive impact on society.
Being a B Corp obliges us to meet the highest standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency and corporate responsibility in all regions where we have a direct presence.
So much so that our certification process took two years, which entailed the assessment of the Ferrer Group’s companies, with a presence in 15 countries, and the launch more than 50 cross-disciplinary projects, thus transforming the company at a global level.
We Are A Great Place To Work
For another year, we ran the Great Place To Work (GPTW) survey to continue to listen to people and understand how our purpose is being put into practice in the company. In 2022, our subsidiaries in Costa Rica and Chile were certified for the first time. Spain, Mexico and Portugal renewed their scores from previous editions.
The results of the survey enable us to keep taking the pulse of the organisation and help us to continue improving and working together on the five aspects of GPTW (Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie) to make Ferrer a great place to work.
